Talbot Creek Midwives

In our ongoing efforts to protect our clients, midwives and staff; we ask that you not attend clinic if you have a cough, fever, runny nose and/or have difficulty breathing and have been to an impacted area 14 days before your symptoms started or have been in close contact with someone with symptoms and a travel history to a COVID-19 (coronavirus) impacted area.

As COVID-19 continues to spread to new areas around the world, the best way to keep track of areas of concern is from the World Health Organization’s Daily COVID-19 situation reports.

Our team here at Talbot Creek Midwives are committed to providing safe and effective clinical care throughout pregnancy, labour, delivery and post partum care, with a generous measure of T.L.C!

Midwifery care is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and provided to residents of Ontario, even in the absence of an Ontario Health card. It is best suited to healthy, low risk women.

We strive to provide a friendly, cheerful, family oriented atmosphere whilst maintaining professionalism. Our clinic is bright, spacious and very child friendly.

We strongly embrace the model of care and philosophies of the College of Midwives of Ontario.

The Association of Ontario Midwives provides guidance for the clinical care we offer.

Our catchment area is, but not limited to Elgin County, London and South West Middlesex. We attend births in the following hospitals; St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital and London Health Sciences Centre (Victoria Hospital) and offer the choice to have your baby at home.
